Windows 10
Has anyone began the conversion to 10? Problems, comments? Do you know if it loads on top of say, 7, or replaces all of the older version? Thanks, Jim

As to updating to Win 10, make a full drive backup first just in case the update stinks worse than 8.1 does.
Not ideal, but worst case, in the scenario you described, you could do a battery pull to stop the update.
I just bought a Win 8.1 desktop, so I am anxious to hear if there is a way for me to shut off OS updates.
