Windows 8 and MS Word

Thanks - will go to the updates and check it .. see what I might have missed.
Also, I know you all have been extremely helpful with tech issues - and we've been beating the Wdw8 issue to death ... but no matter how I try, this one simply turns me off ... it may be me, it may be the interaction, I don't know.
But, I do know that even if I 'play the shell game' somewhere underneath all the visual is the Wdw8 working - and that's what continues to upset my documents, and for some reason, again, it has 'stolen my bandwidth' and re-formatted another document ... it might be a simple fix, but something else will inevitably come up again.
I like '7', I won't upgrade again until there is no options - but at this time, this OS is not gonna be on my PC.
Am traveling, soon as I get to a place where I can get good web service, I will install this new '7' and see what happens.
