I messed my wife’s computer up, installed a new ssd drive (laptop), downloaded the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS install iso, put it on a thumb drive, installed it on her computer, updated, as the installer didn’t have the latest. Synced her Firefox account, copied her wallpaper, done.
Less than 90 minutes.
