Windows updates ???
Anybody else getting these massive Windows updates? Seems like every time I boot up Win 7 I get a pile of updates. Not so much on my laptop running 8.1 but still a lot.

yes, that has happened to me. last time was when I had updates set to automatic on Win98..12 to 15-years ago. hasn't happened to me since. YMMV. but, I now have updates set to notify only and I perform an image backup of the C:\ partition before I do a backup just in case.
