Winegard Anser Semiautomatic Satellite Dish

Question

I purchased the Winegard Anser satellite dish, and within 15 minutes after removing it from the box, I was watching my DirecTV. It acquired the 101 satellite flawlessly.

But in reading the enclosed documentation, I read that it will also acquire the 119 satellite. The manual says that the 119 satellite is International programming.

What receiver must I have to receive and decode the information from the 119 satellite?

The Anser is designed to receive the DirecTV programming on 119 (or the Dish programming on 119).  If you have a subscription to the DirecTV International programming you could re-point the Anser to 119 and watch that and then re-point the Anser to the 101 to watch everything else.

Now all I have to do is to find out if I can see 119 from my location in Cosby, TN. 119 is rather low, and I'm in a valley......

The DirecTV 119 satellite is about 34 degrees above the horizon in Cosby so you should have a pretty good shot at it.
