Richard,
We are working very hard to get to the bottom of this, I just think we are having some confusion.
That private message was from me. As I have been looking into this for you from the other website you we were on. I can assure you, we do not leave people behind when they need help, and we are working to get you taken care of.
So I have reviewed all of your emails from tech support. We have nothing in our phone records of you calling from the phone number you provided us in the emails. Maybe there was another phone used? We definitely would like to see the records so we can see what was talked about, or if there was a message left.
In the emails with help@winegard.com, you stated that you aren't getting VHF channels, and that you were using a Radio Shack RF modulator for an amplifier (which is not an amplifier it is a coax to A/V cable converter) and then we informed you that it is generally the circuit board of the antenna that causes you to lose a frequency(UHF/VHF). Then you asked about a replacement head. We informed you on how to wire the 12V power supply with the amplified Sensar replacement head. After that you wanted to go to KING controls. We want to help you and are trying very, very hard. I am not sure where the confusion was or how we weren't getting anywhere, but we were just asking the questions we needed so we can figure out what your problem is. The last email we sent you was an apology about your frustrations and letting you know if it is the circuit board on the antenna, the antenna head would need to be replaced. Most likely, since it is from 1995, the head has gone bad and it does need replaced. That is why I gave you a direct number to the over-the-air specialist in tech support, so you could get right to her, and get it solved. We pride ourselves in great products and service for our customers, we just want to give it to you.
Thanks,
La Mar Timmons
