WINEGARD 1 .....While the motorhome is a 1995 ... I have no idea if the antenna has been replaced or is original..... but likely 1995.
I cannot say if I called on the number shown in the emails ( my cell ) or ... more likely ... my home phone ....But, your question about what my phone number was, did not say " SO WE CAN TRACK AN EARLIER CALL " ... I thought you wanted to call me, so I gave you my cell.
Each email response contained my cell number, and there was ample opportunity to respond to it.
I think the confusion is ... DO NOT RELY ON EMAIL for your tech support !
One phone call can inspire 15 questions / answers per minute ... that would take DAYS to ask in emails , and that is ... IF ... the conversation led to the next question that solved the issue.
If WINEGARD does not agree with that ... so be it !
I bought a KING CONTROLS head today and had a small question, and got a call back in 23 minutes. THAT, is what I expect ( or something close ) as tech support.
Emails are nice .... but NOT for tech support.. and NOT for days on end, about one subject or issue.
It is up to Winegard to determine their support practices .... but up to the consumer to vote of the VALUE of that support .... I have to give a THUMBS DOWN !
