Really? 35+ years of RVing with reasonable caution, and I've never had anything missing from a campsite. Maybe I'm just luck. I guess you could use and engraving tool to put your numbers into the metal/plastic, but then someone could just buff it out. And I'd be more concerned with the damage to the roof.
