- KA4EBUExplorerI have had a kingdome since the late 90's or early 2000. I ave had to replace the one on my 2003 RV one time. No problems I didn't create.
The coach has 100,000 miles on it and when we leave the drive way the kingdome is turned on auto and never gets turned off 'til we get home. All 48 lower states, eastern Canada,PEI, Nova Scotia and Mexico. - Bull_RiderExplorerWe were able to use the western arc sats. from the Florida Keys, the skew was crazy. But it worked, hit all three sats.
- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IITrue (it's 61.5, 72.7 and 77). Another reason for me NOT to be a Dish customer.
However, you can receive 110, 119 and 129 throughout the US unless you are blocked by the trees. Some extreme NE and SE locations may not be able to receive the 129 even with a clear view. - thestoloffsExplorer

SteveRuff, I agree. I was answering the question directly, but given the choice I will never own a dome from any company again. I replaced a working in-motion dome with the Trav'ler about 5 years ago. Wow! What a difference. No going back once you understand what you CAN do.
That's true, IF you are not trying to receive Eastern Arc signals. The Trav'ler can be made manually to receive 61.5, but won't get 72 & 79. - Bill_SatelliteExplorer IISteveRuff, I agree. - SteveRuffExplorerI suffered through two Kingdomes. I decided after fixing the first one once that fixing it a second time was throwing good money after bad since each repair amounted to about $500. The second, newer, more powerful, dome lasted a full year before I started experiencing problems. When I was told to pull it off and send the entire unit in for repair I decided that if I was going to pull it off it was going directly into the trash where it belonged. I now have the Winegard Traveler and have been exceedingly pleased for two years now.
- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IIFor me, I would choose the Winegard Mission over the X1 for a roof mounted only option. The Mission is well tested and proven and, while I am sure Winegard will do an excellent job with their new release, the X1 is new. The Mission will also likely work with your current receiver while the X1 requires the 211/411 receiver. If you are not in a big hurry and you have or will use the 211 series receiver, the X1 is a very, very compact fully automatic antenna and should be quite the performer.

- chiefneonExplorerHowdy!
We are waiting delivery of our new Toy Hauler and we don't want another roof mounted satellite. We have DTV and we already live without HDTV. Would like to see winegard come out with a Pathway that would work with DTV. Is the new G2 mini carryout like this, automatic with only only cable no 12v connection?
