While I think the Winegard antenna is as good as any on the market, I really don't recommend domes at all these days. They limit your viewing pretty dramatically and they lose signal while driving when you go under a bridge, behind a tree or light pole and programming is interrupted momentarily over and over again.
Also, if you are a DirecTV customer you cannot receive ANY HD programming and if you are a Dish customer the antenna can only lock onto 1 satellite at a time making using a DVR a problem and using more than 1 receiver can cause the same conflicts. I prefer and open face antenna and a good DVR. This way I can watch recorded programming while driving without any interruption and in full HD.
