Winegard SK1000 Satellite dish kapot afer 2.5 years

Perhaps there is another product on the drawing board and they want the SK-1000 to become more obsolete?

Winegard has never been good at listening to their customers. If they don't see a huge market then they see no market at all.
As you are well aware, the SK-1000 is not the least bit obsolete so it cannot become more obsolete. It may not do what you want but it does do an excellent job of doing what it was designed to do.
