Winegard SK1000 Satellite dish kapot afer 2.5 years

Its hard to believe after only 2 1/2 years my Satellite turret motor has malfunction. Unfixable except by returning to Winegard, cost $600.00 plus shipping heavy assembly both ways. That will be after...

Sorry but I just can't imagine shipping my RF Mogul dish back.

My limited access to RF Mogul has been positive. I have drawing and diagrams of the dish. There is really very little up there other than 3 motors and some gears. All of the electronics remains warm and dry inside the rig.

Perhaps in some scenario I might have to ship the control box back to them but I'm betting they would be very helpful.

Certainly other dish problem like a unrecognized bent dish could require professional help.
