That's VERY interesting, where were you when those pics were taken? We just had the Wineguard installed on our fifth wheel last November, so it's still pretty "new" to us!
We were just in Fontainebleau SP last week, the DW asked me to deploy the dish, with all the trees (most were still pretty bare) I figured we wouldn't get any signal. Well I was wrong!! Great signal even though it was through the mostly naked trees but it made me think. ...And with your pictures I guess I'll have to give every scenario a try.
