2 oldman: it looks like it is far more complicated, as I though it would be. I was hoping to put in my Windows 7 disk, and that would be it. I guess I will just continue to grieve foe my Windows 7 system. For the person who asked about "frying" that is the term the tech used. I had a small jar of olives I was snacking on, and when I picked it up it slipped and I had olive juice on my keyboard which leaked to the motherboard. I only know the end result was expensive, and now exasperating dealing with touch and windows 8.
