How long do you plan on keeping the setup? How many devices do you have that need to be connected? How many wired/wireless? How much do you want to spend?
The technology in routers in terms of wireless speed and features are always expanding. You can go low end for something very basic, or look at something like an Asus RT-AC66U near the top or an RT-AC3200 at the top.
It all depends on what you need and how long it will be until you refresh your tech systems.
