My I-pad says Xfinity internet is available at our campsight the only other option I am aware of would be a hot-spot off wife's Verizon phone. Has anyone else dealt with this option and recommend or ...

Xfinity routers are double devices. You will also see (more than likely) at least one other node at the same strignth.
What X-Finity does is this. IF you are a customer you get a password. You can connect to ANY Xfinity router using your roaming password.. So you can use the Xfinity router nearest you.
OF course Xfinity does not have what I would call an honest reputation they ripped off a friend of mine.. I witnessed him call to cancel his service but they still billed him for an extra month.. Complete rip off. I would not contract with them.
