Yahoo email help

My DH was writing an emai & hit some key & deleted everything he had written. Is there a way to get it back?
  • You might check in the Folder called "Drafts". Most emails go there before they're finished and/or sent.
  • Holding down the CTRL and Z keys simultaneously will undo typing if the email is still open.
  • This has happened to me before.
Now when I have long serious letter to write I use a text app then do a cut & paste into my mail program.

    Yup, me too
  • Outlook has had for awhile now a goback key that will remove keystrokes, whatever they might be. If I'm not composing on a WP, I'm using Outlook over a straight email front end simply for this feature

If you have done NOTHING then CTRL-Z may work.. (Undo last edit)

But if you have gone on to other things, that won't.

If you are using web mail it may be, as others have said in Drafts.
If you use client mail it depends on your client.
  • Well, by the time I found out about COntrol + Z he had already deleted the email & closed it out...not very patient sometimes! He retyped it but it's good to know some tricks! Thanks!
