? Memory Foam Mattress Question

When I bought a Tempurpedic memory foam mattress (years ago), it said not to use an electric blanket. I think it even said such use would void the warranty (as if they would find out; as if a mattress mfgr. would honor a warranty in the first place).

I did use an electric blanket, and I still do, with no-name memory foam that I now use. The heat does make them compress more. I sleep better in the summer -- with no electric blanket -- than I do in the winter.

The only issue is that memory will get softer as it warms up. It will get really soft if you apply more than body heat. But you may be ok with that.

use one in the house all winter and no issues- have been doing this for 3 years now.

We're using a heated mattress pad on a memory foam mattress with no problems.

Hasn't been an issue for me. They seem pretty durable.

Anything would be better than a spring mattress.

I used one with my memory foam mattress for a couple of years. (Until the blanket died.) I didn't see any issues.

You will have low heat from the blanket, and a couple of layers of sheets between the blanket and the memory foam.
