Mattress topper, memory foam?

We put a 2" topper on our ultra-cheap TT mattress when it was new and made it so nice we never needed to upgrade it.
I say go for it!

Same Club sells a 4" gel foam for $99. I trimmed it from 80x60 to 75x60 to match our trailer short-queen. Laid it on as a topper and that bed is now the most comfortable I own.

We have an 8 inch memory foam...Spa Sensation from Wal Mart. Like it so well bought one for the house! Best $200 I've spent in a long time.

We have the one from Costco, about 3"? It works well.

The foam topper has been great for us the last 10 years of fulltiming. Wouldn't be without it.

We also got the Costco one and love it! Trimmed it with a electric knife, real easy.

We used a 4" one we got from Sam's Club for 13 years in 2 different 5vers. We always slept great on it.

4" memory foam topper on the old mattress ==== sleep like a baby.

I have a thin (2-3") one on top of the cheap RV mattress. It was a big improvement, from pokey and uncomfortable to sleeping well.

If you have a non-residential mattress size, the foam can be cut down to size pretty easily with a serrated bread knife (or, I've read, even more easily with an electric knife). I do suggest letting it air out for a few days prior to using it.

We also have a 3" topper we purchased at Sam's Club. We don't like to sleep on other beds, they just are not as comfortable. One of our better decisions when we bought that.
