The mattress that came in our trailer was a piece of junk. You could feel the wires in it. Tried a 3" and a 4" topper but I did not like how they slid down on the mattress. Probably compounded by the 4" tilt to my bed for my acid reflux. Replaced the trailer mattress with a 13" memory foam from Sam's Club and my partner feel in love with the new mattress. She has several health issue and that mattress did the trick. We recently replaced the sleep number bed in the house with the same memory foam mattress as the trailer. There was room to replace the "short" queen with a regular queen in the trailer so that makes me happy too. Need to watch out for clearances if you have slides that close over or against the bed.
