Ran into a CG like that once. Nonsense! We turned around & went to the next CG.
It is a simple matter to have an idea of what needs what for power & not overload the post. The 3 major power hogs are the A/C, when the compressor is on, the microwave, which you hve control over & the waterheater, you can turn off if in doubt of overloading the 30A post.
With very careful power management we have gotten away with a 20A circuit & been able to use the A/C.
