The Cfm is cubic feet per minute it is based on the size of the cylinder . Your psi is determined by the pressure switch Which some models you can pop the cap and crank up a bit, but the tank itself is the big factor in the PSI of the compressor, as they are designed to hold only so many PSI safely.
