Stealth RV's interest me, so i always take notice when i see one. Came acrodss one this morning parked in a walmart parking lot. Looks like this stealth rv is made from an old penske rental van. A/C is on the top. The one thing that really sticks out is the generator hanging off the back of the van. I don't like it placed there. If you look close you can see the guy installed a rear camera at the top of the door. I wasnt paying attention to the license plate when i was there, but looking at pic I cant tell where its from. Any one know. Maybe penn or wash?

I wouldn't rush to call that an RV, lots of folks use air conditioned cube vans for a wide variety of uses.For instance I see that that truck is covered with Sunoco and other auto related bumper stickers. These rigs are hugely popular with motorcycle racers.Another group that use these setups a lot are dog breeders. They can put a lot of animals in the back and the a/c is to keep them cool and comfortable. If it were an RV I'd expect to see things like at least one window and a man-door.

I guess he only thought he was stealthy. :B

I might agree with jaxdad, but not when its parking in a walmart neighborhood grocer in west hartford, ct. If you know the area you'd know what I mean. This store just opened this year. I'm sure the traveler came to the lot cause walmart is usually rv friendly and he probably saw the location listed online. But rv's and vans like this stick out like a sore thumb in this areaalso in the front cab was an opening to the rear area covered with a black curtain.I wish i had taken a pic, but once i saw a beat up white sprinter van with foil covering the windows and an old directv dish propped up on top of it.

There was a florist in NY near where I lived who had a truck like that. The A/C was needed to keep the flowers in the arrangements and funeral pieces from wilting in warm weather.

Another possibility is that it's a contractor's shop truck. Many around here use small cargo trailers for this purpose, but this looks to have similar features.

And for the fun of it as your walking by it, say to wife sort of loud. "Oh look honey a stealthy van. Wonder if anybody's in it"?
Listen for some noise inside or door to open. Some of those stealth types are interesting, but many some are nuts and other try to scam you.
