If you forget the bathroom/holding tanks and want something you don't have to "popup" to walk into, you can stay under 2,000 pounds with a 13-15 foot molded fiberglass trailer. But that means you'll also have to get rid of practically everything else you own, too. And none in that size/weight range are whatchamightcall "four-season", so you'd have to go south in the winter.
We have one and love it but it's strictly recreational. I can't imagine living fulltime in it, especially with a dog bigger than my twenty pounder!
