X3 - my immediate reaction, having seen my great-nephew turn into a teenager recently with his own summer plans. And are the parents definitely on board with handing over the kids? If yes, but only for a week or two each year, I'd rent.
Unless you actually will use it without the grandkids. In any case, keep thinking a used unit vs new, to lessen the hit if you sell in three to five years.
