Trying to explain which direction to wrap tape on the threads of a plumbing fitting with out a visual is like trying to explain an elephant to a group of blind folks. I'm refering to the old example of communicating used in many text books, I'm not saying the blind are stupid. Creato gave the simplist example in my opinion. Simple and concise. I have to think about it every time I use thread tape and I have been doing it since tha stuff came out.
