are all rv toilets macerator ??

Ok I assumed the toilets were just a dump into the black water tank,,,,now im reading there is a macerator....are they all like this ?? If so what activates the macerator ??
  • Macerator toilets are typically used where a relatively long pipe run is needed to reach the black tank. RV's with two bathrooms would likely be the most common application, with one standard toilet located directly over the tank, and the second macerator toilet some distance away.

No macerator in our trailer system. Our Class A had a macerator but it was an add-on at the black tank flush as are most, if not all, macerators.

Same here, Jayco 5ver with a straight drop into the blank tank.
