They're kinda nostalgic since the advent of LED, and it makes me happy to see the various shapes/themes choosen by the owner. The LEDs seem kinda sterile. I get that they draw little power and are convenient, and I guess you can set up a bit of an action-color display sorta deal, but they're soul-less.
one of the reasons I'm liking the LED's, with the color adjustment you can either set to white if you're really needing some light or set to a darker color if you're just wanting a little bit of something so you (I) don't trip over a dog leash or something.
