Awning LIghts
ok, just looking for some opinions. been looking at several different types of lighting. pros and cons? 1) the 'fun shape 10 light set' these will need to be taken down and put up each the ...

Now.. If you have Power awnings and the wind picks up.. The lights will remain hanging below the rolled up awning,, You will need either a ladder extend the awning to take 'em down. But this lets you retract and extend the awnign with lights attached when weather reaquires
you do need to take it down for travel, Removing the string is optional, but Id do it.
not a bad idea. not sure how I feel about drilling a hole in the sides.
You're not drilling holes in the "SIDES", but in the aluminum awning arm that holds the roller.
