Start with the front purposely low. Place 2 of your jack stands under main chassis beams as far back as possible. Jack the front up until the beams are placing most of the RVs weight on the jack stand. Check the right to left level at the back. If you are off, lower the front and adjust the jack stands.
Now, crank the nose jack up until you are past level front to rear. Place the other 2 of your jack stands under main chassis beams as far forward as possible. Let the jack down and check for level front to rear. You might have to adjust the front stands for level left to right, but the rear should have stayed in place.
Most of the weight should still be on the suspension/tires.
Having a trailer supported on the far corners is absolutely incorrect because you will stress the frame to the maximum.
