Best Motorhome for a Family?

Me and my husband are wanting to full time RV with a child in tow and planning to hopefully have another.
right now we are in the research phase, as im an over researcher.
I was wondering what ya'lls opinions are on which RV type would be best?
I'd love a light weight class A but i highly doubt a livable one will ever be in price ranch. I've also been looking into class C's , and towables. But, i was wanting some prespective from experienced RVers. I stayed in a RV as a child, but only as weekender with my grandparents. Not exactly the type of experience that makes me capable of single handedly choosing a home
  • take a lot of time in your search, start a must have list ,can,t live with out list. its alot of fun and learning adventures, even the break dons arn,t all that bad.
  • First, consider do you want to pull a large trailer? A 5th wheel would probably be your best bet, but you will need a large truck. Do you want to use that large truck for your everyday trips, like running to the store? I don't. I have a class C and tow a small car. Second, be aware that any RV will "shrink" the more you use it. What looks big at first will become cramped and confining, especially as your family grows. In real estate, the saying is "location, location, location". In an RV, it's "floorplan, floorplan, floorplan." There are a lot of bunkhouse models on the market, take a look at them. It sounds like your family has an exciting life ahead.
