Get the used Dolphin. The second time you pull up to a gas/diesel pump to fill an F-350, you will be crying.
I really think the Dolphin is a good platform, there are still many of them on the road. Be prepared for some maintenance and repair cost, though, because of age and mileage. Still, the Toyota will cost you less then the Ford.
Another alternative could be a teardrop trailer pulled by a small SUV or truck. I've also slept in the box of a pickup truck with a topper.
