I am currently leaning toward buying an older F350 dually and loading it with an older truck camper.
I agree with your situation the Truck Camper might be the best way to go. Parking a Truck Camper as you travel would be a whole lot easier than any MH. Makes boondocking easier. When you do find a place to settle you can drop the TC and still have the truck to go to work etc.
Curious what brought you to live in a jungle in South America? :B
