Fiberglass rigs are good, if you can get a good price on them.
For under 10k, I've seen some KZ models that weigh under 3000 pounds, and around 14 feet long. That can be towed by almost any type of pickup.
Pickup truck/TC rigs are also useful since you can go into town, but leave your house at a CG or boondocking spot. Plus, it is a lot harder to steal a TC than a TT.
