I'm looking at the Shasta Retro ,too cute thanks for the link.I'm not see any in my area to look at yet.
I contacted Casita and had them send me a price list, I was shocked that I can order a brand new 2016 for less than most are wanting for a used one. They are have a sale going on and all models are 3k+ off. I'm in the works of renting one next weekend to see how I like it. This forum has been suck a huge help!!

I don't know about the Casita but I have looked at the Scamp quite a bit. Even drove to the Scamp factory to look at them. Two things my wife and I noticed that we decided didn't work for us on the 13 & 16 ft models. When you collapse the rear dinette into a bed the person against the rear wall gets a short side of the bed because of the curved corners. We also found the dinette was tight to get in and out of and sit at. So my advise would be to make sure you find either a Scamp or Casita of the model that interests you to actually get inside of and check out before ordering from a brochure. Even though it is a bit of a project trailer we ended up with a 13 1/2 ft 1987 Scotty trailer that is in the 2000 lb range. My normal TV is a Suburban but I have towed the Scotty about 125 miles with out 2004 6 cyl Jeep grand Cherokee and it did fine. Plenty of braking, towed 60-63 mph except for hills and the JGC's suspension was able to handle the tongue wt. The JGC does have the towing package
