Everyone always talks about not spending the money on chemicals. How much do people spend or thing we spend on them. At the beginning of the season I buy 2 bottles of Aqua chem at $6 each. I will need to open the second bottle this weekend so bottle one lasted 7 trips. Bottle 2 will probably get me to Sept so I might spend another $6 in Sept so my total is $18 for the year, I lose more than that just walking down the street. Yes it is more than zero but compared to everything else about camping that is barely a half day of camping.
