Yea, again... my MAIN concern was just having it in the fridge.
Here in NH the law just states:
New Hampshire's RSA 265-A:44* prohibits an adult driver from transporting, carrying, possessing or having liquor or beverage (as defined by RSA 175:1**) within the passenger area of any vehicle on a New Hampshire “way”, unless the seal of the original container is unbroken.
So "Passenger area" would be the ENTIRE RV I am guessing.
I wish there was some direct reference to a motor home in the law. They keep it REALLY vague!
"There are limited exceptions to this law for chartered buses, taxis and limos for hire, or for vehicles which have been modified for overnight use or as living quarters."
Does that mean an RV is ok?
MY RV was "modified" for overnight use or as a living quarter. But if you bought an RV that was BUILT as an RV, then it was not "modified".
And "limited exceptions"? What does THAT mean? :)
That is why I figured I would just ask and see what you all have noticed in real life. Seems like I will be OK with a few beers in the fridge. (I am just used to car life)... Here in NH, we have to keep the booze in the trunk coming home from the store!
Passenger area.....YES that is the WHOLE motorhome
Limited exceptions......means some booze can be consumed by passengers when the vehicle is a commercial for hire enterprise (limos, taxis, charter bus........or party bus/old school bus MODIFIED for private/commercial enterprise)
Beer in fridge OK
Beer in cabinet OK
Booze in fridge/cabinet OK
Empty booze bottle, empty beer can in trash........should be thrown out with trash PRIOR to hitting the road
