This is all pretty much as I expected. Again... I would IN NO WAY drink and drive (especially in a rig). But I have a few different scenarios I thought of.
1. I have a buddy who does NOT drink... NEVER HAS. Me and my friends have a great designated driver. I thought maybe it would be fun to all get in the RV for a trip to a sporting event and maybe have a beer along the way. In THIS case, I would make sure the windows were closed and again... as the driver would NEVER drink.. I don't feel like I am doing anything morally wrong.. even if it is technically illegal?
We are all around 50 years old so our "party" days are behind us. But it is still fun to get together once or twice a year, go to the game and act young again. :)
But that scenario is not one I have approached... Just a thought and prompted me to question.
My MAIN concern was the real possibility of having some booze in the vehicle at all. Like many of us have mentioned.. the laws are pretty vague, so some "real world" advice makes me feel better. And it is what I had figured would be the case.
