You may find out the RV will be alot like BOATS - They could be a money pit.
It will be worth all the initial expense once you get rolling.... Try to learn how to fix all the things yourself. We live out of AMAZON, WALMART, and LOWES...
We always setup in the back yard for the first outings... It was best for us to find the things that didn't work quite right when still at home. All the mods and so called updates was always field tested at home first.
It will all start falling into place soon. Then you will have to start worrying how keep everything from growing legs and wandering off on you...
It seems there are two types of folks involved with RV's The RV TRAVELERS that drive coast to coast and use their RV's to replace the hotels across the land. The other type is RV CAMPERS that usually have much smaller units and like to go to the somewhat local campgrounds just for the thrill of camping.
We live for the camping off the power grid like places and our thrill is camping back off a Natl Forest trail road up against a creek somewhere. Might only be 50 - 100 miles from home and might stay there for a couple of weeks...
