RV dealers unlike automotive dealers are not required by all mfg. to preform warranty work.
Some mfg. let dealers get away with not doing warranty work.
Contact mfg. directly and ask them what there position is on warranty work.
Then discuss with them the local dealers response.
Local dealer may be blowing smoke but with that kind of strong-arm tactic the work preformed is not going to be very good.
If dealer told me that I would question their after sale commitment even if I bought from them
