If you are addicted then yes bring your own TV and internet.
On a side note we too were addicted to TV and made a conscious decision to quit when we went full time... one of the most life affirming/ changing choices we have made. Takes about 3 months to get off the withdrawals but once you do you will find you don't need that stuff.
We now snigger when we see ads for new TV shows, movies, or actors/ actresses on the covers of magazines and have absolutely no idea what or who they are! (we see the ads online or in the occasional movie rental)
