Cable question

Our first trip out this weekend, and we are going to a KOA that has cable (we don't have our dish setup yet.)

Do they supply the coax cable that runs from the box/pole to the RV, or is that something we should take? If so, how long should it be?

Thanks bunches! Jules
  • We have a 15' and a 50' coax, so I'll grab a 25' and two of those connectors when I'm out tomorrow!

    Thanks all!
  • I carry a 25 FT cable, it always seems to be enough. I also always have some of These to put on each end of the cable,It makes it a lot easier to hookup, just push them on, a lot easier on the fingers.

My local Radio Shack has them.
  • Most campground stores will have what you need if you forget something.

We carry two 25-foot RG cables along with a two port transformer and a short RG cable. This allows us to run one cable from the pedestal cable connection to our cable input and then we just throw the second RG cable under the trailer so we can use it with our portable HDTV out under the patio sitting on a table if we want to watch TV outside for a bit...

Always have a few of those double female connections in the glove box... They really come in handy when you need one...
