I've camped down to about 20 in a cheap TT with no special extra insulation. It also had a slide which are heat sieves. Took off the water hose at night and ran a ceramic heater in the <20' TT and other than condensation on the windows and a couple of spots in the walls (factory forgot or improperly installed insulation?) all was fine.
