Hope you and I never have the unfortunate experience of camping next to each other. If I am following the rules, and you intentionally shine your LEDS into my rig, I guarantee you it will be for a short period!! Perhaps you need to learn to boondock. Your kind fries my gizzard!
Ummm, since when is boondocking running generators all day? I'm not saying someone can't run a generator for a period of time, but seriously, you don't need it running all day.
"Perhaps you need to learn to boondock." Trust me, look at my setup, I go for a week on 1 battery. Pretty much every place I go feels like boondocking.

It goes back to, spend some $$$ on your rig, batteries, lights, catalytic heater, and you can go for a long time. Also, learn how to conserve while you're inside, learn how not to turn lights on for 16 hours a day. Some of this I blame on the new RV setups that don't have ovens and only have microwave convections in them. Manafactures also cheap out on lighting and then you have the dealers that give you the crappiest batteries around.
I'm not trying to push my style of camping on anyone, tenters, rv'ers, etc. Ultimately most of us want to enjoy our time. By being respectful, I, along with many others, concidering running generators for long periods of time disrespectful. Just because the rules state you can, doesn't mean you should. Crap, here in Portland, I can walk around naked if I want without breaking the law, but I don't...
mmmmm...Gizzards.....
I suggest boondocking so you can stay away from everyone who irritates you. And how do YOU know my generator needs? Could be a medical condition. Could be my comfort. Whatever the reason, if I am within the rules, I will do whatever is necessary to accommodate our needs.
"Fries my gizzard"...a family saying that means something gets my goat, but I'll get over it. "Chaps my hide"? Much more serious.
