I suggest boondocking so you can stay away from everyone who irritates you. And how do YOU know my generator needs? Could be a medical condition. Could be my comfort. Whatever the reason, if I am within the rules, I will do whatever is necessary to accommodate our needs.
"Fries my gizzard"...a family saying that means something gets my goat, but I'll get over it. "Chaps my hide"? Much more serious.
Listen to what you are saying, this thread is about campground etiquette, not "whatever is necessary to accommodate our needs". Also, let me debunk your medical needs comment, if you need power during the day, you need it at night. I've personally never had an issue with anyone at campgrounds, yet it sounds like you have, maybe you should think about that.
Nope, never had an issue. But I do have a problem when someone threatens to retaliate in a way that inconveniences me when I am within the park rules. Never said I had a medical need. I said he doesn't know that someone doesn't have one. I rarely run my gens (2 Honda 2000's) more than a couple of hours a day. Our last trip out however we were having some issues with our batteries, so I "accommodated our needs" and ran one gen longer than normal. Hope that is OK with you.
