Need to sort out between an rv being towed versus a motorhome. An rv being towed if running something as heavy as an inverter could run the battery down. A motorhome uses much heavier wire that can be used to "jump start" the engine battery by pushing a button. Once the vehicle is running,heavy current can easily flow and keep up with any loads. That said, it is always advisable to run the generator if the coach battery bank is low in order to reduce the load on the alternator which is not designed for charging large banks of batteries.
So, in your case it is highly unlikely you would run your coach battery down.
