Changing oil and engine idling after long trips?

Been below zero plenty of times and leave as the sun gets up.
Not saying to burn rubber, just drive moderately and pull onto the highway.

Fuel injection does make it easier as I have had plenty of carburetors ice up and need to feather the throttle to keep it running. All the more reason to get rolling.

Block heater might be in order if you have so much trouble.

You will never know until you give it a go.
