Just decided to check the lug nuts on our TT we purchased last fall. Got the trusty 4-way lug wrench out of my truck and realized the walls on it are too thick to fit on the nut with enough clearance on the rim. Good thing I checked now instead of after a flat! Added a 3/4 socket and long breaker bar to my tool box I keep in the TT. Go check yours now to make sure you have the right size lug wrench or socket in your TV or TT.
Have you actually tried to change a tire on your TT? I highly recommend doing that at your house to make sure you have what you need. I have found that my factory truck jack works just fine to change my TT's tires - the multi-piece extended bar is actually quite convenient. And yes I had to get a socket just to fit my TT's lugs (nuts, whatever works).
It's obviously NOT that easy as I'm pretty sure I've never seen a torque wrench used to put tires on in any mechanics shop or tire place I've ever been to. They all just use the air guns or electric equivalent. There's not some plague of wheels flying off of vehicles from overtightened lugnuts due to using simple air guns.
