- Bob806Explorer IIII've camped all over Texas, my favorites were Palo Duro SP, Caprock Canyons SP, Davis Mountains SP, & Atlanta SP. Don't know if you're heading to any of those areas, give 'em a try if you do.
- lhenry8113ExplorerA few years ago we stayed at Mustang Hollow Campground-Mathis, Texas. Originally we planned for 1 night-ending up staying 4 nights. We had a site by/overlooking the Lake-it was 30 AMP/full hook up. They make and sell homemade pizza, at the office. The management was great-the sites were big with grass, trees, etc. Campground was super clean. If we were ever in the area again-would definitely head for that campground.
- LwiddisExplorer IIMost RV campgrounds have a website with pictures and details.
- dalenoelExplorer IIThe Van Horn RV Resort in Van Horn was nice unless you want to be in the north, south, central or east parts of the state.
- trailernoviceExplorerWhat part of Texas? It's ginormous. Also, what sort of place do you like...a state park? Rv resort with a clubhouse and a pool? Commercial place in a good locations that's a glorified parking lot? Beach, river, lake, plains, mountains, desert? We've been from Mission to Dallas and from Houston to El Paso...and everything in between
- Dutch_12078Explorer IIThere's 450+ campgrounds in Texas. Could you narrow the area you're interested in down a little bit? Texas is a big state... ;)
