We have various lists but I find it more useful to have kits of gear. For example everything I need for use at the dump station packed together and so nothing gets left at home. Same with the first aid and bug and bear repellant, camp area setup, fresh water fill (water thief, hoses, bleach container, funnel), tool box and spare parts, etc..
We leave only our cooking utensils in the camper when not traveling and the rest comes out as kits and is stored this way so it is easy to grab when we are packing for an upcoming trip. We can also decide for a particular trip what we want to take, like fishing gear, or whether to leave certain items behind.
Our only lists are for food we plan to buy in advance and do some initial prep before loading it all into the fridge and cabinets.
